Norwegian data protection authority issues anonymisation guide

Somewhat older (what a pity that my Norwegian is a bit ... ehem ... rusty nowadays ... remembers me of my studies in Oslo ages ago: Prof Jon Bing and others, my very first encounter with data protection at the Senter for rettsinformatikk):
The Norwegian data protection authority (Datatilsynet) issued, on 24 August 2015, a guide (pdf; 'the Guide') relating to the anonymisation of personal information. The Guide provides practical guidance for data controllers on the considerations to be made prior to anonymising data and highlights Datatilsynet's opinion on the effectiveness of different anonymisation methods.
